When women return to New Haven after prison, where do they live?

In collaboration with the Women's Resettlement Working Group, this research project seeks to build knowledge about where New Haven women live after release from prison. The survey asks women to describe their pathway home, beginning with the first night of release. Where did you live? With whom? How much did you pay for this accommodation? Did you feel safe?

The goal is to interview 50 women during the Spring of 2017. Interviews will be conducted by Amy Smoyer and an MSW Graduate Student. Members of the Women's Resettlement Working Group will help to recruit participants. The goal is to produce findings that can inform housing and program planning in New Haven that responds to women's needs.
